The Director’s main areas of responsibility include:
Multimedia/Multi-Platform: Advance collaborative efforts around sports initiatives across the company with the goal of driving ad revenue for CBS. This involves working with CBS Sports Broadcast/Cable, other brands within CBS Interactive, Showtime/Showtime Sports, CBS Local, etc., to create compelling, multi-platform advertising solutions.

Official Athletic Sites & MaxPreps: Cultivate the strategy that drives revenue for two important areas within CBS Sports Digital: the CBS Sports College Network (100+ official college athletic sites) and MaxPreps.com (leading high school sports site).
The Director should have a proven track record of working hand-in-hand with sales and content/production to develop best-in-class marketing solutions. Must-have traits and skills for the ideal candidate:
A great communicator and highly skilled relationship builder across a variety of personalities
Expert at multi-tasking
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
High-energy
A creative thinker - understands clients and can uncover revenue opportunities
Other specific responsibilities:
Expertly represent Integrated Marketing in high level client and agency meetings, with the ability to think quickly and creatively while not over-promising
Join senior staff meetings with Sales Mgmt, the Sports GM, Product leads and Editorial leads
Manage and mentor 2 direct reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree and minimum of 8 years related experience
Strong digital/social background with at least some television knowledge
Must successfully pass a background check
Preferred:
Sports fan
