Executive Director - International Brand Marketing - 20th Century Fox - Los Angeles


Job description
Oversea the International Fox/Dreamworks Family portfolio for both the physical and digital transactional business for Theatrical family films, TV and DTV films.
Work extensively with cross-functional peers in major international markets, regions, and in the Los Angeles home office. As part of the home office marketing team, help lead all activity related to optimizing the transactional (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital) sales of Fox/DWA films.
In charge of driving the business and meeting the division goals for a segment of products, by recommending strategy to Fox and Dreamworks management team, setting clear goals, communicating strategies to territories, providing necessary tools, and monitoring activity.
Lead architect and planner for International Summits/Webinars & Video Conferences.
Dialogue with territory: Communicate strategy and articulate clear goals with aim of elevating plans and achieving consensus. Enrich strategy with territory input, identify servicing needs and share best practices and learnings.

Coordinate all aspects of central product marketing development, including briefing, scheduling, consumer research, market/competitive analysis, creative development, consumer promotions and publicity.
Identify the needs of the consumers and customers and business opportunities.
Provide strategic advice on locally driven initiatives and approvals when needed.
Servicing role: provide timely information and materials to territories, either directly or thru briefing and monitoring of functional services (Research, Finance, DVD content and ops, Creative, Publicity, Internet and Promotion).
P&L accountability: recommend and monitor central investment in fixed cost for each release and their segment (DVD content and localization, creative and internet assets, central publicity activity), monitor forecast (together with Finance department), report results and activity to Fox management.
Work with on ad-hoc projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Politically savvy and charismatic leader
Must have a combination of brand marketing, international and home entertainment experience
Strong understanding of digital transactional business
Must be innovative and always consider both digital transactional and marketing opportunities
Demonstrate an ability to build a narrative and recommend and present business opportunities based on synthesizing data.
Adept multi-tasker dealing with multiple projects at once
In-depth understanding of trade marketing/sales function
Proficient at establishing relationships with third party partners, and cross functional peers
Flexibility, ability to work under tight timelines and pressure
Good humor, positive and passionate approach to work
Strong attention to detail while being able to understand the big picture
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
General management perspective
Ability to be proactive, prioritize multiple important projects and work without constant supervision
Intermediate PowerPoint skills a must
