As Director, Digital Sales Planning & Operations you will oversee the sales administration and directly manage a team of Planners. The role of Planning Manager will be to lead the team by focusing on creating compelling proposals to drive revenue to the organization while ensuring all existing campaigns are properly managed. Further, the role includes providing support for all Pricing & Planning elements including deal approval, stewardship and pricing. Manage aspects of inventory through strong working relationships with sales, inventory and traffic to ensure maximum usage and placement of ad time.

Responsibilities
• Oversee inventory yield management, sales plan approval, marketing package pricing, rate card creation.
• Own program overview of Digital Ad Sales Process & Systems for Digital Video and Mobile Inventory as well as Pitch to Pay Process
• Oversight of pre and post sales analysis, make good/preemption analysis, commercial unit allocations, branding, flights, moves, mass move schedule changes, invoice adjustments and all planning process elements
• Develop and execute on the strategic visions for platforms related to Digital Ad Sales
• Perform competitive assessments and develop strategic presentations as related to Digital Ad Sales Platform improvements
• Collaborate with teams across the organization, consisting of Technology, Sales, Operations, Finance and Strategy to understand priorities and create a strong, unified product vision. Work with IT, vendors, outsourced teams to deliver on the Sales Solution Strategy.
• Process improvement across planning and account management to drive efficiencies, improved analytics & documentation
• Demonstrate digital expertise in the area of Digital Video as it relates to all NBC Universal Brands, including Entertainment, Sports, and News
• Stay connected to the latest digital video trends and platform enhancements and provide internal NBCU groups with industry insights
Qualifications/Requirements Required Experience
• Proven track record of program execution
• Demonstrated understanding of Digital Ad Sales Platform landscape as it relates to display, video, mobile, audience and inventory platforms
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
• Working knowledge within pricing & planning, sales fulfillment, order optimization, inventory, ad operations/trafficking, finance, billing and reconciliation across the digital media landscape is strongly preferred
• Results oriented, high energy style and driven to succeed
• Strong strategic thinker, having a strategic understanding of the Digital Video marketplace, trends, data
• Strong skill sets in problem-solving, decision-making, judgment, flexibility, oral and written communications, organization and interpersonal skills required
• Prior experience as Sales Planning Manager

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 5 years in the digital media sales and operations industry, video & inventory experience preferred
