The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing on a variety of complex business initiatives. The right candidate will be able to effectively leverage project and change management techniques to produce results that meet the customer needs. The role requires effective collaboration with Senior Leaders and Business Partners across American Express to provide advisory services that bridge thoughtful strategy, detailed planning, and disciplined execution.

Qualifications
•6 – 8+ Years of management consulting or equivalent project management experience preferred
•Proven success leading cross-functional, complex, and large-scale initiatives
•Solid problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to present solutions to complex business problems
•Strong executive presence and effective communication skills, both written and oral
•Ability to challenge the status quo within the team and with our business partners
•Strong self-starter with an ability to navigate successfully through ambiguity to advise on project direction and recommendations
• Consultative and collaborative skills, including ability to influence without authority at a senior-leader level and present solutions to complex business problems across multiple lines of business
•Ability to translate overall business vision and objectives into tactical strategies and plans
•Ability to anticipate changing customer needs and seek to create value for the customer
•Natural disposition to think innovatively and identify opportunities
•Financial Services experience preferred
•Successful track record in designing, communicating and managing change on a large-scale and/or global basis
