For this Director of Business Operations role we are looking for a senior level partner who can work closely with Networking leadership and the Technical Infrastructure management team, help us wrangle our many diverse and innovative efforts into a regular cadence of execution and delivery, and make complicated cross-team projects hum along as if they were under a single omniscient manager. In this role, you will help conduct reviews for project planning and execution, performance and efficiency metrics, strategic projects, cross-functional objectives/key results, and quarterly budgets with a demonstrated track record of operational/execution excellence.

Responsibilities
Run and manage core operations/business cadence.
Develop proposals for business operations improvements via both tactical deep dives, and larger cross-function project and analytical team efforts and then execute approved proposals.
Partner closely with all Google functions relevant to the product areas, including other Technical teams, Product teams, Finance, Legal, and People Operations.
Be a sounding board to the Management team, acting as proxy for the leader on communication of key business operations programs, working closely across functional areas to provide a consistent performance driven narrative across initiatives.
Ensure the strategy communication cascades to the broader organization, partners, and product areas through the cadence of All-Hands, offsites, and management meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer, Physical Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of professional work experience in a role of similar scope and responsibility.
Experience with networking technologies and operations. Experience creating data-driven strategic recommendations to a global leadership team, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and sound logic-driven judgment.
Experience with the Internet industry and players as well as experience in program management across multiple functions including Operations, Engineering and Finance with working experience in Legal and HR.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in Engineering, Computer or Physical Sciences.
Experience leading both business and technical processes, utilizing program management tools and effectively managing cross-functional initiatives via performance metrics and domain expertise.
Experience creating insightful data-driven strategic recommendations to a global leadership team, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and sound, logic-driven judgment.
Experience leading cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses required to develop recommendations which netted proven impactful results.
Ability to Identify and assess nascent business operations challenges and opportunities across multi-faceted technical organization and recommend and/or develop programs and processes to address them.
