Key Roles and Responsibilities
Business
• As part of the Debt Capital Markets business, bonds syndicate is essentially for being the link between the markets / investors and potential issuers.
• This entails providing our clients with market updates, pricing views for new issuances and arranging meetings with investors; one of the key objectives from this exercise is to ensure that our client has an accurate view of what can be achievable for them in the international or local debt capital markets.

• Once a transaction is mandated, the role is to guide investors (along with the credit sales team) regarding the credit of the issuer, collect feedback and relay the same to the issuer; on the basis of this feedback and our general view of the market, the role is to ensure that the marketing / pricing of the bond transaction is executed in an efficient manner.
• The key focus area for the US desk is North & South American issuers; having said that, we also support issuers from other jurisdictions, to the extent that investors in the US are willing to participate in issuances from our footprint.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Discharge all required FCA prescribed responsibilities as Certified Person



Qualifications and Skills
-Minimum 5 years experience in Debt Capital Markets/Syndicate and or
- Proven expertise in debt financings
- Ability to function as part of a flat organization, manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of multiple teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized and articulate manner
- Ability to follow up independently

- Undergraduate degree or MBA depending on experience, or its equivalent
- Series 7 or 79 & 63 licenses preferred
- Proficient in complex corporate finance
- Strong familiarity with the capital markets
- Experience in negotiation and execution of bond transaction
