Your Day
Develop custom client solutions utilizing Yahoo’s entire suite of products, including Display, Native, Video, Social, and Performance
Quarterback a cross-functional Account team and serve as the primary contact for our clients and agency partners
Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Yahoo resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs
Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry including developing innovations in mobile, social, and emerging media
You Must Have
Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in online advertising in an agency role (AMD or higher) or senior seller role
Demonstrated partnership with large clients with a passion for customer focus. Proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients
Deep understanding of the digital media industry with the ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data/research
Strong skills in solution development and the ability to produce client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions that improve/accelerate client campaigns
History of selecting appropriate products from a diverse product arsenal to solve the client’s advertising objectives. Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors
Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills (sense of humor required!)
