The Customer Business Development Senior Director will report to the VP of Sales for Defense and Space and will lead an expanding team of Customer Business Development Directors and Sr. Managers who are responsible for growing the pipeline of sales opportunities at their assigned customer for new aircraft / helicopter / ground vehicle / UAV, launch vehicle, etc. models, refresh on existing platforms with a focus on displacing competitors and tracking this pipeline through SFDC.

This position requires extensive breadth, knowledge and experience within the assigned D&S customer base and products. The Senior Director will be responsible for the performance and development of all customer business development activities across the globe. The Senior Director will build strong relationships on both the technical and executive level that will position Honeywell for long term positive relationships within the OEMs around the world. As a member of a leadership team, you will coordinate activities with other functions across the territory to achieve overall business results

Key responsibilities:
To establish and own the plans and strategies aimed at serving and expanding the customer base across the region
To ensure the staffing of a sales team that achieves maximum profitability and growth in line with Honeywell’s vision and strategic objectives
To define strategies and initiatives to attain growth across the region
To manage and direct resources towards meeting clearly articulated account and territory growth objectives
To build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
To partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
To forecast of revenue and growth opportunities
Proven sales experience within Aerospace and Defense industry within international environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 10 years Aerospace industry, product and sales knowledge experience
Minimum of 5 years Sales leadership experience with a track record of driving revenue growth
