NBCU has deployed SAP to run financial, logistics and HR processes. SAP BPC is used to run planning processes at enterprise and division level. NBCU currently have 12 BPC solutions to support financial planning processes and 4 new solutions are on the immediate roadmap.
SAP BPC Director will own the delivery of planning solutions for certain divisions which includes discovery, scope, defining project phases and budget for initial build & on-going support, vendor selection working with sourcing team. BPC Director will engage NBCU BPC solution architect as necessary. This role is also responsible to establish & own the support team for on-going post go-live support & solution improvements.

• Facilitate & lead (if necessary) designing of planning solutions to solve business problems and needs using SAP BPC HANA
• Review design recommendations to ensure quality and consistency across the footprint
• Facilitate & lead business requirement definition sessions
• Facilitate & lead (if necessary) fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and other corporate systems team members such as BPC, BI, Security, Basis, SAP FICO
• Review and/or participate in solution build and test activities on BPC implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects; may be asked to step in to conduct project management activities from time to time
• Understand processes in SAP BPC such as EPM, BADI, script logics and computations
• Advise on solution roadmap for BPC projects taking into account current Microsoft and Netweaver footprint
• Business engagement leader by owning relationship at leadership & operational level
• Demand management for supports and projects for the area of responsibility
• Resource planning , develop team skill matrix and team work load management
• Conduct comparative research and recommend strategies for migration from BPC Microsoft to Netweaver and platform consolidation
• Collaborate with peers in the Corporate systems to apply best practices to integrate between SAP applications (ERP, BW, BO and BPC)
• Represent expert voice of the Corporate systems with other IT groups in envisioning sessions
• Become the trusted internal advisor for key business users
• Assist in troubleshooting production support issues
• Enhance expertise in the area of SAP products relevant to Enterprise Performance Management, by keeping abreast of literature, participating in webi/seminars, industry and SAP events as necessary
Qualifications/Requirements Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as IT Director or 5+ years of experience as Sr Manager
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
• 7+ years of progressive Outlooksoft/SAP BPC MS and/or BPC Netweaver hands on experience leading up to Architect level work in a IT capacity implementing TV accounting and planning solutions of high complexity and large scale
• Experience working with SAP ERP, BW teams
• Project time and cost estimation ability
• Project management familiarity/experience
• Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
• Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of business and IT
• Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
• Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills
• Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies, and change control processes
• Familiarity and comfort in working with outsourced offshore resources

• Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment
