The Director, Business Development will be based in Memphis, TN. The Director, Business Development will provide leadership and support in the planning and implementation of market and customer penetration strategies in order to cultivate and capture new business opportunities that enable Flex to exceed revenue, growth and profit expectations. The Director, Business Development is responsible for strategically developing and managing all account activities for multiple customers by engaging with our internal and external clients to expand current and develop new opportunities within the account base in order to deliver customer value, drive profitability, and grow revenue.

Utilizes customer, competitive and market intelligence to develop sales and account penetration strategy to penetrate new target customer.
Create and drive personal pipeline in line with overall GSS strategy.
Shaping propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Regional VP’s, Solution Architects and Business Development team.
Establishes and develops customer relationships to position Flex for long term growth.
Collaboratively establishes effective communication process with Account Manager and execution teams to ensure clearly defined customer expectations and contractual obligations.

5+ years experience in a sales/business development capacity.
Experience implementing supply chain solutions into external client environments.
Experience within various industries such as medical, automotive, retail and high-tech.
