Director Brand Experience Citrix Fort Lauderdale

Citrix is seeking a brand-driven Director of Brand Experience to build a community of practice for UX and CX across all customer-facing points of interaction including the web and our product portfolio. The Director will work with several tiers of designers and initiative stakeholders to translate corporate visual brand standards to build a cohesive and scalable visual language across the web (Citrix.com) and all product lines. This role will require a strategic mindset, critical thinking, proven leadership experience, collaboration, and execution with cross-functional teams on behalf of the customer. The role will also include regular reviews with senior management to ensure alignment on business objectives and resource allocation.

Ability to both DO the work (i.e., produce user stories, personas, sitemaps, wireframes, mood boards/style tiles, style guides, prototypes, and pixel-perfect high­fidelity UI designs) and INFLUENCE the work of others
Strong understanding and desire to build and evolve brands through product development
Understanding of (Cross-Channel/Cross-Product) Systems Design
Work closely with a team of Web Developers, Product Managers and Designers (UX and UI) to create an intuitive, cohesive, and delightful user experience on Citrix.com and across all our products
Work with the Engineering team to get the technical business needs met while ensuring that the user experience is the top priority
Build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and lead formal design reviews across the company
Foster the ongoing development of the visual design practice by staying abreast of design best practices, emerging interaction design patterns, and new technologies
Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of corporate strategy, and maintain a leadership presence with key senior executives
Stay continuously informed of emerging technologies by following trends and
opportunities

Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design or other relevant major
8+ years designing user experiences, and interaction design, for rich, interactive, consumer or enterprise, web applications
Minimum 5 years of experience in management, mentorship, and cultural change
Experience leading deliberate change within an organization through transformative design; ability to influence a strong point of view in a large organization
Proven history of collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to generate superb visual design work
Ability to articulate business strategy, user experience, product design, and branding –and to balance these with customer needs and technological constraints when generating design solutions
Outstanding portfolio of successful projects that had a significant impact on the organization
Ability to understand and apply qualitative research (including user research and usability testing), quantitative research, and analytics to solve customer’s problems based on their needs
Experience working in Agile and/or Lean UX environment
Willingness to take smart risks and learn from failure
Superior presentation, oral, and written skills
