The ideal candidate should be familiar with end-to-end user funnel measurement, understand levers that drive customer acquisition, and have experience in reporting/forecasting. You will be a key member of the team that supports PayPal leadership in making prudent decisions around driving/understanding our users. As a Director, you have to be comfortable with aligning different global teams around a consistent performance story on key KPIs. You will be leading a team of very smart analysts and will be seen as the expert on everything user. You will also support/lead efforts on long-term planning while aligning global executive leaders on active user trajectory of PayPal.

Job Requirements:
Responsible for global alignment and regular updates on net new actives performance. Focus and improve attribution to our global user funnel analysis and forecasting, including having dedicated focus on aggregating Risk, Marketing, Product, and Operational impacts to the funnel.
Use data and analytic methods to test hypotheses and uncover root causes of business performance. Provide insights into performance trends, be able to explain root causes of changing performance
Lead KPI development and tracking across all key functions of the business including product, marketing, partner success, and logistics.
Manage the annual, quarterly, and monthly planning processes; ensure tight fit between financial plans, product plans and operating plans (and their metrics); lead and operate regular business reviews
Support efforts on providing visibility to executive staff on how new initiatives impact long-term PayPal user growth
Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead and coordinate complex projects across multiple subject areas.
Raise the bar across the organization in terms of analytical rigor. Help lead a data driven culture by making data easily available to the whole organization and training.
Must be proactive, resourceful, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity to anticipate business needs.
Must be comfortable with ambiguity!
Qualifications:

10+ years of increasing responsibilities; experience in finance with a bias towards quantitative analysis.
Superior analytic capabilities with strong insight and understanding of how a business operates.
Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis and presentation, with the ability to unearth insights, communicate them clearly and drive action.
Talent for synthesizing complex ideas and communicating them in a way others can easily understand (both verbally and via email/PowerPoint).
Versatile. Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities.
Experience in high growth / payment industry desired, but not required
Skill and confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organization.
Exhibit the highest standards of integrity and be pleasant & fun to work with.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills – ability to work collaboratively & consultatively with partner business organization as well as with Finance colleagues.
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment.
