The IT Strategy & Governance Senior Director will lead the teams responsible for creating and maintaining the IT organization's future direction and focus. The IT Strategy Senior Director will lead the development of a business-aligned IT strategy to drive all planning and activities in the short, medium and long term (i.e. Strategic Plan, Enterprise Investment Plan) and ensure that the IT strategic roadmap aligns to this strategy. This role will ensure linkage between global function and sector strategic business capability needs with IT imperatives and roadmaps. Additionally, this role is accountable for defining and managing the global IT Governance framework, defining roles, process and decision rights to manage our strategic and operational governance in conjunction with our business partners. A primarily internally-facing position, the IT Strategy Senior Director will provide support to Business Relationship Managers aligned to each business unit and global function and will be expected to align the IT Strategy processes and approach with the broader PepsiCo Strategy function.

Develops and implements the process and accountabilities for IT Strategy development for PepsiCo
Translates business strategy into technology strategy and ensures that new capabilities required by the business are planned
Develops and articulates the vision providing a roadmap aligned to business imperatives, including investment plan and key change programs
Partners with key stakeholders to lead the creation of the overall PepsiCo Strategic Plan (PSP) for IT aligned with business goals
Consults on overall portfolio and investment plans, prioritization and alignment with IT Strategy & Roadmap by coordinating with IT Business Relationship Managers and service delivery leads
Performs periodic benchmarks and assessments to calibrate PepsiCo IT performance relative to best in class organizations
Analyzes current IT capabilities and makes recommendations regarding skills, process and operating model improvements
Designs, implements and manages governance process to improve decision making across the IT organization
Monitors and reports on the performance of the governance processes across the IT organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of related IT business work experience including experience developing and executing IT Strategy and Governance models. Consulting experience is preferred
Big picture expertise and ability to think strategically
Demonstrated ability to solve highly complex problems within and across teams
Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
Experience with developing strategic materials and concepts for senior business and IT stakeholders
Strong leadership and influencing skills including the ability to develop relationships at all levels
Experience structuring and managing a team is required, including a demonstrated ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
Strong financial management experience with proven ability to manage annual budget
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Global experience is preferred
Working knowledge of global IT process and organization best practices. Experience with IT delivery outside of IT Strategy & Governance is preferred (e.g. operations, development, business relationship management)
