The Director of Provisioning Supply Chain Strategy is focused on providing thought leadership across all areas of cloud infrastructure provisioning, decommissioning and asset disposition. You will work with senior engineering and finance leaders by defining and landing the strategic vision and business models needed to ensure MCIO’s success in the long-term. You will craft recommendations and partner with corporate strategy, engineering, other business planning, and go-to-market teams to drive the implementation of your recommendations to completion.

You will lead virtual teams and run this function as a business where you will develop deep insights derived through internal and external data sources, creating a comprehensive business strategy that leads to greater revenue share. This role reports to the General Manager of Deployment Engineering.

Commitments for this role include: Business strategy: Develop and land business strategies for MCIO specific to decommissioning and asset sales, with an eye towards impacts and implications on business models, pricing / SKUs, and logistics. Portfolio optimization: Assess and help MCIO leadership manage the aging infrastructure portfolios, and provide frameworks for decisions that affect investments, acquisitions, and partnerships. Insights development: Lead insights business planners and partner with other data teams across our engineering teams to craft the insights needed to support business strategy and portfolio optimization initiatives. Leadership: Coach a high performing team to hit key priorities and support thoughtful career planning with your direct reports.

Recommended Qualifications:

• 10+ years of strategy, consulting, or business planning experience
• Self-starter with strong financial and analytical skills; strong business judgment and acumen.
• Excellent problem structuring, identification, and resolution; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding cross-functional project management and leadership skills leading to positive organizational change.
• Ability to influence across functional teams and at senior leadership levels across marketing and engineering.
• BA or BS; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of people management experience required.
