The Director of IT Product Strategy will be part of an overall TAP Program Management Team that will that will drive strategy, planning, execution, decision making and communication across multiple workstreams. This position will drive business results through successful collaboration with decision makers in the Fidelity Institutional businesses, including operations, client experience, technology, sales and relationship managers, clients and prospects.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will drive business case development, pricing strategies, product / offering positioning, “go to market” planning, competitive analysis, and communication across multiple workstreams.
Lead all business case development and reviews for the overall program and collaborate with workstream leads for subject matter expertise and direction.
Deliver insights regarding key marketplace trends (including a full understanding of the competitive landscape) and their impact on clients, technology solutions and overall wealth management trends to inform overall product strategy
Determine positioning of the TAP products / solutions vs. the competition including value proposition, pricing and conversion risk.
Validate addressable market assumptions for future product adoption.
Work closely with Finance and the workstream leads to create competitive and innovative pricing strategies.
Fully understand and actively manage the revenue and expense drivers of the TAP products / solutions.
Partner with sales & relationship management to gather direct client / prospect needs and validate product strategies.
Build out a segmentation matrix (RIA, independent, insurance, etc.) that articulates addressable market opportunities.



Education and Experience:
Background and direct experience with product management and overall strategy development.
Demonstrated experience developing large scale and complex business cases
Ideal candidate has experience with brokerage fundamentals and working with financial intermediaries.
Bachelors or equivalent with 10-12+ years of financial services experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to think strategically across multiple solutions and client segments
Thorough analytical and problem-solving abilities with a close attention to detail
Effective meeting management skills, ability to bring discussions to closure with consensus, action items and accountable parties
The ability to work effectively with senior management
Demonstrated leadership skills including program / process management and organizational skills
Able to operate effectively in a dynamic and changing environment with often unstructured and / or virtual teams
Strong communication, presentation and project management skills are essential to success
Must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver business results.
Demonstrated strength in interpersonal skills
Actively collaborates with people in other parts of the organization to solve problems, access resources, and accomplish important goals.
Builds credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders that can be leveraged in future interactions.
Persuasively presents suggestions or ideas to business managers, internal or external.
Solid influencing skills to manage conflict resolution / management escalations and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
Strong understanding of the existing interdependencies of processes, systems, and business units
