The Director, Dolby Cinema will be a critical leader of a cross-functional team dedicated to creating differentiated marketing experiences that drive results with partners around the world. This person will create a multi-year outlook and strategy to guide marketing efforts across all regions and channels. Responsibilities

Serve as the primary marketing contact for the Dolby Cinema business team, and represent the Dolby Cinema business within marketing worldwide.
Lead, nurture, and develop a small team of marketing rock stars who are dedicated to building the Dolby Cinema brand globally.
Conduct ongoing competitive assessments and market trends reports to drive marketing and product strategies.
Leverage primary and secondary research to define target moviegoer profiles / personas.
Translate Dolby Cinema business goals and metrics into a go-to-market strategy.
Drive development of the Dolby Cinema creative and content strategy, including development of product / brand positioning, messaging, and creative campaigns.
Work closely with our Studio Relations team in Hollywood to build proactive planning process with studio marketing partners.
Drive strategic discussions and fresh thinking that differentiates Dolby Cinema online and in person.
Lead the Dolby Cinema “core” team (PR, social, digital, content, design, research, brand, events) within marketing to create and prioritize marketing program plans and budget.
Forge leader-level relationships with partner exhibitors and studio marketing partners around the world.
Review and approve internal and partner-driven Dolby Cinema marketing program activities.
Conduct periodic data-driven program reviews to report on progress vs. established goals, metrics for marketing and executive leaders.
Collect and share research and insights to support upstream product development and product planning process.
Support business development activities as needed.
Lead and mentor within marketing worldwide.
Skills and Experience
10+ years in product / retail / studio marketing-related role in fast-paced environment (weekly content cycles).
Team leadership, people management experience.
Collaborative style with proven examples of building relationship with business partners.
Ability to foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirited environment.
Humble and empowering; able to lead a delicate creative process to unlock innovation with creative marketing partners.
Detail-oriented with laser focus on metrics-driven results.
Flexible and adaptable; able to adjust style to meet needs of a growing / evolving marketing organization.
Blend of creative thinker / analytical reporter
Digital media and physical marketing program experience desired.
Background and experience in research, reporting, and analytics.
Stellar written and oral communication skills.
Highly organized, precise attention to detail, and strong project management skills.
