We are looking for a senior leader who is passionate about understanding consumer behavior, determining actionable insights & translating them into a strong lifecycle marketing strategy.
You are expected to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the eBay’s Global lifecycle marketing roadmap and lead/partner with teams to launch the plans. The role will focus on tactics to drive buyer growth and retention.
You will also be expected to drive innovation & learning across channels as well as through product and process enhancements to drive better results. The role offers a strong intersection of marketing intuition & strategy, consumer insights & analytics, campaign tactical & creative execution and technology experience. Preference given to candidates with strong email marketing background.
Watch: Career Advice You and the cross-functional team/agencies you’ll be leading, will be accountable for a specific incremental revenue target, churn target, and traffic target. You will also have clear deliverables on improved technology infrastructure. You will manage a team of 5+ FTEs + Contractors.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional team & agencies to develop strong lifecycle marketing strategy/roadmap and campaign plans
Work closely with marketing channels and operations to launch campaigns, including in email and onsite merchandising but driving learning & expanded to mobile, social etc.
Work closely with market research & analytics teams to understand consumer segmentation / behavior & identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing (e.g. new eBay members, active users etc.)
Work closely with Experimentation on measurement frameworks, test design, planning, and analysis
Partner with agencies to deliver impactful creative and keep evolving/improving based on external best practices
Work closely with the product management and engineering team in the continuous improvement of eBay’s CRM technology, tools and processes. Support product definition and development of portfolio of tools to deliver grass-roots driven short term business impact and scalable long term high impact marketing programs. Represent customer and business perspectives throughout the process.
Own operational execution of current CRM initiatives, including overseeing budgets, targets and operations. Lead cross-functional team to deliver plan on time
