As a Director, Data Management, you will establish data solutions at the client and create a compelling vision and strategy that will inspire both the client and Sapient project teams.

· Vision and Strategy Development – Create a compelling vision and strategy for a client.
· Communicate and inspire people within their responsibility with the vision and strategy.
· Market Development – Understand the components of marketing and develop an effective marketing strategy for the client.
· Business Development – Execute on the company’s sales process by opening & identifying, shaping, expanding and managing senior relationships. Lead proposal efforts and sell the company’s value proposition to client
· Relationship Management – Establish and manage long-lasting relationships with prospects and clients, dealing with senior level business and technology executives in both sales and delivery contexts
· Delivery Leadership – Lead project teams to shape, propose and implement the most appropriate solutions for our clients. Monitor progress of active projects and identify any potential risks and implement mitigation steps.
· Operational Leadership – Understand and run the day-to-day functions of the client/BU/account against targets and metrics, including revenue, profitability, legal coordination, and compliance with corporate policy and procedures.
· People Leadership – Manage, develop and motivate account members to achieve team performance and individual growth. Manage the growth of the account from a management, morale and succession planning standpoint
· Financial Acumen – Understanding of financial statements and the levers within our business.
· Participate in making key investment and operational decisions regarding the operations and structure of the business.
· Manage multiple large, complex engagements/programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality
· Lead or support the design, estimation, planning, and implementation of business solutions that require IT system(s)
· Interact with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions delivering to business needs
· Consult clients’ senior technical leaders on best practice point of view
· Help build client relationships and participate in business development and proposal work.
Experience Guidelines:
· Industry Expertise in within Capital Markets.
· Experience in business development.
· Proven consulting experience with several years of managing clients and managing to a revenue/profit target
· Very profound experience in successfully delivering and selling solutions to Investment Banks, Asset Managers, or Commodities clients
· Deep experience in project management, client relations and technology consulting.
· Broad experience managing a large technology implementation projects with a team of 50+ people across multiple lifecycles.
· Participated in multiple full software development life-cycles
· Familiar with Agile and Iterative Development as well as latest project management methodologies
· Proven track record in Business Development managing multi million in annual revenue.
· Proven ability to sell and penetrate new markets / clients.
· Broad knowledge of technology trends and relevance to clients business.
· Ability to apply technology in an appropriate way to meet business requirements.
· Openness to travel (occasionally overseas).
