The Credit Suisse Group Finance - Capital Management Strategy team is looking for an experienced VP / Director in New York.
This position plays a critical role in supporting Credit Suisse’s strategy by helping to manage the capital resources available to Credit Suisse Group and supporting in divisional business plans, product offerings and competitive positioning.

Develop Capital Management Strategy presentations and messaging to inform senior management and other stakeholders on Credit Suisse’s financial position, upcoming risks, and challenges to enable strategic decisions
Contribute value-added feedback to key financial decisions (e.g., resource allocation, performance benchmarking, etc.)
Collaborate with divisional CFO/COO, Business teams, Group Finance, Risk in developing presentations and discussion documents for regulatory authorities (e.g., lead efforts on initial “storyboarding”)
Provide constructive feedback to Capital Management Group colleagues on messaging and structure for key analytics / presentation deliverables
Lead efforts with Credit Suisse businesses (Global Markets, IBCM, IWM, Swiss Universal Bank, etc.), Risk, Finance and other cross-functional teams in forecasting, managing, and executing on various Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Leverage Exposure (LRE) initiatives
Challenge ineffective and/or aggressive divisional assumptions and projections, providing senior management with an accurate reflection of Credit Suisse Group position
Advise internal businesses, support functions and external consultants on various questions regarding capital and liquidity rules on an ad-hoc basis
Divisional/Departmental Overview:
Group Finance Capital Management Strategy sits within Credit Suisse’s Finance organization and reports to the Head of Group Finance as well as the CFO of the bank. The team works closely with Senior Management, Front Office, Risk, Treasury and other CFO / COO teams.

You Offer...
Minimum 7-10 years of Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations and/or Investment Banking experience
Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills to enable internal/external deliverables
Possess an inquisitive mindset, with the ability to structure complex analytics and discussions with limited guidance
Familiarity with the functions, businesses and products of Investment Banks and/or Wealth and Asset Management
Ideally, a good understanding of Basel III rules and the regulatory landscape
Demonstrated strong academic achievement and intellectual curiosity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
