2-5 years of industry experience (ad network or other demonstrated analytical experience preferred)
High attention to detail, organization, team-orientation, and an able to work under tight deadlines
Querying, modeling, slide preparation, and delivery
Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills
Mastery of PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel/Numbers (with a preference for Apple OS preferred)
Extensive, demonstrable quantitative experience
SQL querying (comfort with temporary tables and multi-step queries)
Description
The analyst will be primarily tasked with driving complex analysis. There is a technical component to the job in that the analyst must be comfortable with large data sets, but an ability to communicate findings effectively is equally important. This role involves: significant interaction with large data sets, modeling, analysis, written presentations, understanding of both publisher targeting and KPIs. Specifically, the analyst will be responsible for the following: Manage sales pipeline, forecasting data and reporting Lead the implementation and measurement of the News optimization programs Own strong understanding of current and future business Ad hoc analysis focussed on publisher and advertiser needs News trend and outlier analysis Presentation of analysis to a varied audience regarding performance, engagement drivers, assumptions, and campaign impact Coordination between ops, engineering, analytics, and other internal groups
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (CS or quantitative emphasis preferred, some academic experience with statistics preferred)
