We are looking for Human Resource Director to lead and build a global Inside Sales organization. In this job, you will provide HR leadership and accountability for design and execution of the Inside Sales worldwide transformation plan and people agenda in partnership with client business leaders. This is a people manager role as well as a part of Microsoft’s HR Leadership Community.

Primary responsibilities:
Partner with Business Leader on global setup and transformation plan
Build and implement the overall people plan for Inside Sales business
Leverage deep OD and change management expertise to guide and land the transformation
Scope and implement the people infrastructure, operating and support model for global centers
Lead HR team in guiding the business through the Build, Perform, and Evolve journey for current and future centers
Successfully drive key HR “rhythm of the business” processes with clients, including Performance Management, Career Development, Talent Planning and more, and use these activities as a platform for further influencing and enabling positive change within the organization.
Understand the business expansion plans and guide the setup of new centers in global locations in partnership with HR leadership and field HR partners.
Identify, diagnose, and work with leaders and HR team to address key workforce issues such as retention, performance management and differentiation, employee readiness, overall manager capability, and other talent and organizational priorities measured by our people scorecard.
Drive leadership effectiveness and provide executive coaching to leaders and leadership team.
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to guide and drive the strategy for acquiring new set of skills and capabilities for the center, and develop sophisticated career development and growth framework
Partner with, and coach, managers and leaders to build world class inside sales culture in the company
Bring outside in perspective and incorporate trends/practices in building and running inside sales centers globally

Skills and qualifications

Qualifications include a minimum of 12 years of directly applicable HR experience, preferably in an Inside Sales or Services environment. A BS/BA in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred.
High degree of business acumen and people acumen, and ability to influence business leaders at an executive level and within HR as a virtual team leader
Success in people management, including attraction, assessment/hiring, development, and performance management
Demonstrated success in managing HR initiatives in a large, complex, matrixed, and global business environment
Exceptional written and oral communication and group presentation skills
Strong analytical capability to identify systems strengths and weaknesses, and drive for continuous improvement
Experience partnering with wide network of clients and across HR to deliver effective business solutions
Organization Development expertise, including organizational diagnostics, org structure alignment to business requirements, and change management expertise
Proven ability to develop Trusted Advisor relationships with senior executives, along with proven executive coaching capabilities
BS/BA degree required, MBA or advanced degree in HR preferred
Call center environment experience is a plus. Must have demonstrated competence in supporting and facilitating the day-to-day HR needs of a diverse population: employee relations, organizational development, coaching, training and development and an understanding of compensation and benefits. The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognize trends, and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in this fast-moving, constantly changing environment is imperative. Global perspective and experience in running global initiatives will be an added advantage. Candidates must have demonstrated skills in the areas of business acumen, consulting, systems thinking, data analysis and project management in a human resources role and structure.
Expected travel is between 30-40%.
