Facebook is seeking an experienced Product Marketer or strategist who is passionate about technology, product development, advertising and revenue strategies. This position will manage a small but growing team responsible for influencing product strategy through a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics as well as executing against global launch plans to bring products to market and drive advertiser growth.

The successful candidate is both data-driven and has the ability to tune into market trends to inform product and marketing strategies, and can effectively work with colleagues across the company to drive results. This is an end-to-end product marketing role including initiating the development of new products and features, defining market requirements, building business cases for product strategies internally, running product alpha and beta tests, and developing/executing go-to-market strategies and collateral for new advertising products. The focus of this role will be on our core ad products and ad platforms in Facebook News Feed – these include Video Ads, Canvas, Carousel, Live Video and 360 Video. The role is deeply cross-functional and will require close collaboration with Brand and DR focused Product Marketing teams to shape product development based on market feedback and to take advertising products to market. This position is full-time and based in our main office in Menlo Park, CA.
Responsibilities

Drive product strategy bridging short term execution and long term vision
Identify opportunities and represent voice of the market by conducting industry research, including deep quantitative, qualitative and competitive analysis
Analyze product performance, synthesize customer feedback and advocate improvements
Quarterback go-to-market efforts globally to support product launches and scaled adoption
Manage comprehensive, cross-functional activities including betas, positioning, policy, product documentation, and sales collateral
Proactively identify and overcome adoption barriers
Partner effectively with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Communications and other key teams
Requirements

BA/BS degree required
MBA preferred
5+ years (10+ years overall professional experience) working in a product marketing or equivalent capacity (partnered closely with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements and with sales to support product launches)
People management experience preferred
Exceptional quantitative analytical ability and communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside Facebook
Experience with digital media & marketing
Experience working with agencies and large brands on managing their video advertising strategy and buying activities a plus
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized
Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment with little supervision
