Commercial Campaigns and Content Director Dell Round Rock

This position leads our client solutions global marketing campaign team. There are three core functions within the role:
Product Messaging and content development
Responsible for quality of messaging and content at the LOB level
- Overall LOB presentations and briefs
- Development of unique content for customer engagements and events including customer briefings
- High quality delivery of LOB value proposition messaging and associated deliverables
- Engagement with other Dell marketing teams and agencies to brief in new solutions
- Engagement with engineering and counterpart marketing teams within Dell to source compelling content for messages
- Development of content for external events, social media campaigns, partner events
- Support for executive speaking platforms and engagements
- Sales messaging for product launches; development of sales tools to support specific initiatives and respond to competitive events

Campaign strategy and development
Responsible for quality of messaging and sales content cross-LOB
- Lead key cross-LOB initiatives. Aggregate & report on progress to initiatives, report out in key cross-CS mtgs
- Point person for product portfolio coverage & integration into campaigns (work with David Schweighofer & Madhu on guidance package (product focus rationalization)
- Ensure cross-LOB consistency of content
- Define process for getting message in front of regions
- Sales edge governance and reporting
- POV on vendor funding and ongoing vendor integration.

Campaign sales enablement and demand generation
Responsible for quality of campaign sales enablement and demand generation

Qualifications

Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication and facilitation skills required. Must be able to learn quickly, but thorough grasp of salient issues and details of key initiatives in order to make evaluations and recommendations.
- A comprehensive knowledge of marketing at Dell
- Must demonstrate the ability to influence and achieve buy-in at all levels of the organization.
- Must have highly developed interpersonal skills which is sensitive and empathetic to others, builds trust, and possess good listening skills.
- 10 years’ experience in B2B marketing with a track record of driving strategy and change
- Deep marketing knowledge and active engagement with external partners, organizations, and peers to bring innovation and trends to bear on decision making
- MBA preferred
