The Global Development Manager will be a key member of the CSS Business Development team working very closely sales, services delivery, and practice leadership to set and execute the strategy for growth of security services in Global Enterprise and Service Provider Customers.
● As a trusted security advisor, the Business Development Manager explores the complexity of large Security Service Solutions for Global Industry Leaders in a wide range of industries and Services Providers including: Cable and Media, Web Services..
● Sets fiscal year and multi year strategy for business growth for Global Enterprise and Service provider segments respectively
● Defines objectives to meet growth targets
● Leverages the broader business development team to meet objectives
● Engaged directly with customers to shape large complex deals
● With a seasoned mix of technical and customer service skills, the ideal candidate is comfortable driving decisions and developing complex solutions for large customers.
● Have the ability to manage multiple projects with a strong organizational and detail-oriented focus.
● Be responsible for the global pipeline and forecasting of Security Services deals in assigned segments.
● Build strong relationships across multiple teams starting with direct customer relationships and including Business Development, Account teams within Cisco.
● Ability to travel up to 50%

Minimum Qualifications
● Requires an undergraduate degree and 10-15 years experience with Network Security Services, Business Development, and Operational Management.

Desired Skills
● Demonstrated ability shaping business direct with customers.
● Experience running an information security practice or organization.
● The ability to execute at multiple levels within Cisco including Sales, Delivery Management, and Practice Leadership as well as engage with customers.
● Demonstrated ability to set long term strategy while achieving short term business objectives.
● Proven experience managing a book of business across a diverse customer base.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
● Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are necessary.
● Strong partnership skills and relationship management a must.
● Certifications such as CISSP and CCIE Security desired
