VP Content Creation Under Armour Baltimore

This person will oversee and drive the UA CONTENT HOUSE, an internal team focused on original branded content creation for all media platforms, but specifically focused on digital, social, and mobile distribution. This person will need to manage a multifaceted team of editors, filmmakers, photographers, and content makers for social and digital media.
This person must be comfortable in representing the Under Armour brand voice, look and feel, and able to express it on various media platforms. The VP of Production must be well versed in digital and social media platforms and comfortable directing both internal and external teams on creative content production, in both short and long forms.

It's very much a people-oriented job, involving development of high-level concepts for design projects. It also involves working with internal clients, pitching scripts and treatments, and understanding needs and distribution.

What will you do?

Day to Day responsibilities include meeting with teammates to discuss briefs and needs, ability to determine budgets, schedules, and crew, and determining the best ways for us to visually represent our Brand and Brand initiatives via video content. This person will also need to lead strategic thinking on new forms of media, new distribution, better work practices for the content team.

Additional responsibilities will be added as the company and department continue to grow and evolve.

Develop and Execute the long term plan for creating a global content creation machine.
Create and drive the content system for UA RECORD.
Work to align content house with the new creative production process around the holiday, sales meeting, and seasonal refresh calendars.

What have you accomplished already?

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Minimum 12 years related experience and/or training
Strong communication skills; strong writing and exceptional presentation development skills.
Previous experience running day-to-day operations for a creative/content agency.
Dynamic personality and strong vocal leadership.
Ability to bring high energy presence into meetings and create clear, concise direction
Ability to effectively disseminate complex info in a clear and concise manner.
Requires professional maturity, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Displays passion and optimism. Steady and calm under pressure and in ambiguous situations.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
