Exceptional Electrical Engineering background.
Experience in digital and analog EE design.
Hands-on lab experience including data acquisition and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies.
Expertise in two or more of the following: Buck/Boost converter design and analysis; high-speed signaling, signal integrity, and PCB routing; FPGA/CPLD design; scripting and/or automation.
Knowledge of DFM rules and capabilities.
Cross-functional team leadership experience.
Good understanding of designing for EMC, ESD, and thermals. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of system development processes.
Experience with high-volume manufacturing.
Description
Create electrical designs meeting display and system requirements; create block diagrams, capture schematics, and define constraints. Perform PCB floor planning and routing studies; analyze and provide feedback on mechanical constraints impacting EE design; manage PCB layout and stack-up definition. Plan and execute electrical characterization and validation; debug issues; and come up with creative solutions. Analyze design complexities of new technologies or implementations; and ensure compliance with cross-functional requirements such as Display, Touch, EMC, and Graphics. Provide cross-functional leadership as a key go-to person in the overall display electronics and system design. Communicate with internal and external teams. Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams. Meet project milestones and manage technical issues.
Education
BSEE and 8+ years of EE industry experience; or MSEE and 6+ years of EE industry experience; or PhD EE and 3+ years of EE industry experience.
