As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.

In our Systems Management organization, we recently launched Oracle Management Cloud services and we are one of the fastest growing cloud services at Oracle. These cloud services include IT Analytics (e.g. resource and capacity planning across customer enterprise or data center), Log Analytics (e.g. index large amount of log data and provide query capability to identify application issues), Application Performance Monitor (e.g. monitor page performance from different geographical regions), and more services coming later in the year.
We need seasoned technical manager who help come up with and execute testing strategies to help improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our services. Having many of the following experience or skills are highly desired
- At least 12 years of technical experience with at least 6 years in management
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science
- Performance or System Testing background
- Knowledgeable in Database and/or Application Servers with focus on analyzing performance and scalability issues
- Understanding of Java and Web services
- Familiar with the popular open source software like Hadoop, SOLR, Zookeeper, Kafka, etc
- Ability to work with engineers in different geographic locations
