This role is responsible for budgeting, planning, coordinating and executing all the WW and North American Sales Conferences and other events.
Key Qualifications
5-10 years managing complex events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project and Program Management experience preferred
CMM OR CMP preferred
Description
Work with sales executives to understand unique organizational strategy, objectives and goals to create and establish sales culture for they year Lead teams responsible for end-to-end execution of worldwide sales conferences (attendance: from 100 to 2,500) Responsible for overseeing a group that is responsible for all contract negotiations with strategic hotel partners and chains, venues, DMCs, transportation companies, training companies and any other vendors necessary for the success of a conference Drive the creation and implementation of training delivery formats and agendas Establish expectations and timelines with all key conference stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure parallel and independent work streams that must all execute simultaneously on site at the conference Manage multi-million dollar budgets, complex logistics and attendee communications Manage the general session production including the management of speakers, their schedules and their content Lead an effort to constantly reinvent each yearly conference so that remote teams identify with a broader community and feel knowledgeable of the company and division goals. Foster an environment focused on obsessing over the customer experience, demanding difference and delivering world class sales conferences with satisfaction rates exceeding 95% Must be willing to travel extensively, adhere to a strict gifting policy, perform under tight deadlines and cut through ambiguity to make decisions that are best for Apple
Education
4 year college degree or equivalent experience
