IT Director Enterprise Quality Strategy Deployment Johnson & Johnson Bridgewater

The IT Director, Enterprise Quality and Strategy & Deployment is part of the extended Quality and Strategy & Deployment IT leadership team; accountable for development and delivery of the IT strategy, with focus on the management of WW IT Domain Strategic programs. This includes strategic relationship management with key program managers of WW IT Supply Chain programs and organizations; results delivery through an indirect cross-functional team comprised of numerous TAO’s, GTS and Enterprise Architecture staff; and management of expense relief submissions for WW programs.
This role has a global focus for SC IT, managing a global portfolio with over 1800 applications through all aspects of Application Lifecycle Management and developing a strategy and deploying end user capabilities. The role will enable our associates to move to next generation infrastructure technology, move our sites to enterprise wide platforms, minimize risk, process orientation and increase value to our end users.

The IT Director, Enterprise Quality & Strategy Deployment will:
• Work with key IT leadership, IT Architecture and other colleagues; develop and agree the strategic roadmap for IT Domain portfolio and End User; maintain the roadmap, plan and implement. Working closely with other IT leaders, maintain roadmap alignment with other sectors in Supply Chain IT.
• Drive the application lifecycle management in line with BEYOND program. While providing leadership to this program – e.g. ensure strong alignment to other programs such as Reliability Assessment, Instantis rollout and End User programs.
• Employ program management capabilities to drive and co-ordinate activities of leads for LCM initiatives such as Win 7, IE 11, BYOD etc.; Monitor and track metrics for each initiative.
• Escalate challenges which may impact progress on initiatives and metrics.
• Be an extended member of the Enterprise Quality and Strategy & Deployment IT leadership team. As part of the overall IT leadership team, seek to develop IT to increase and improve the impact and return to the overall business from IT, and seek to improve the overall job and company satisfaction for our IT associates.
• Ensure appropriate communication and influence through engagement across multiple IT program forums.
• Drive broad collaboration for introduction of new technology and features in line with IT strategy.
• In conjunction with colleagues, contribute to the on-going development of new and existing methods and models for delivery of programs.
• Facilitate formation of teams and resources for new programs, to ensure maximization of employee engagement and successful delivery.
• Promote team and program achievements and activities.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, and at least 10 years of IT experience and relevant business experience is required
• At least 5 years of people management experience is preferred
• Professional project management certification and/or diploma is desirable
• Computer Systems Validation Training is preferred
• Experience with large program and project delivery in global environment, including managing project and program financials is preferred
• Experience leading & managing diverse, indirect global teams is preferred
• Experience resolving critical technology or program delivery risks and issues is preferred
• Strong business acumen with keen understanding of the strategic priorities aligning with overall business strategy and ability to build strong working relationships is required
• Experience in influencing enterprise collaboration: building strong networks across functions; developing and delivering broad-scale strategies; enforcing alignment of programs with business, I/T strategies and roadmaps is preferred
• Proven experience enhancing IT delivery performance is preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, , ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, exceptional service orientation, strong negotiating skills is preferred
