Perform business planning/modeling.
Develop and implement WW business plan, pricing strategy, product mix, ASP, price decline, seasonality, and gross profit $’s and %.
Develop pricing strategies with regional Marketing.
Manage future pricing for budgetary considerations
Provide 13-week model consolidation and input.
Present pricing information and strategy to management for awareness / approval.
Develop channel marketing strategy with Channel marketing team.
Provide market requirements to Product Marketing for future products.
Perform business planning/modeling.
Develop and implement WW business plan, pricing strategy, product mix, ASP, price decline, seasonality, and gross profit $’s and %.
Develop and implement customer roadmap and product transition strategy to ensure customers demand the most cost effective products.
Create and deliver customer roadmap / product presentations as necessary.
Assist Product Management with OEM customer requirements for future products.
Manage all OEM programs and pricing entry.
Develop Regional / Sub Regional / Channel business plan in partnership with sales, including pricing, mix, growth and investment in all aspects of the region.
Create compelling channel programs to push / pull product sales to achieve business plan goals.
Manage program creation and documentation for all programs managed by the region.
Oversee Channel Marketing investment in conjunction with Channel Marketing team to ensure funds are spent to maximize the regional business plan.
Identify strategy and customers, in collaboration with Sales to keep/grow customer base.
Develop and maintain pricing communication / documentation tools including:
SPA tools
CRM / customer offer systems
Manage program offer templates and process.
Coordinate with claims group to ensure programs are adequately documented for payout
Assist claims group in resolving claim disputes.
Manage necessary price lists, including but not limited to, WW distribution and End of Life.
Train Regional Marketing managers / directors on pricing / program offer process
Manage ad hoc and regular analysis of:
Product movement / POS performance
WD and industry price trends
Management pricing reports
Extensive knowledge of databases / Excel / Analysis tools and other web tools is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the business management of one or more marketing functions including; development of marketing strategies, product and volume forecasts and ROI, product pricing and programs, financial modeling, customer communications, communication with and training of sales teams and sales management, and or management of MDF /Co-op activities. This position will work with some or all of the following; WD distributors, Resellers, System Integrators, Etailers / DMR accounts and other channel partners to ensure business goals. Uses excellent interpersonal skills to engage with complex multicultural customers to achieve business objectives while maintaining customer integrity. Strategically negotiates pricing, programs, and or product transitions with vendors or customers to ensure business goals. Develops extensive measurement and analysis tools to validate ROI and financial impact decision making. Domestic and international travel is required.

Provide input to strategy and operating plans
Responsible for executing and managing the day-to-day operations, or is an experienced and skilled individual contributor in a specialized technical/functional area.
Recommend changes to operating procedures and ensures ongoing compliance.
Position WD to compete successfully in the market.
Prepare management reports and other tasks, as required.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in multiple marketing/functional areas (MBA preferred) (or equivalent combination of education and pertinent experience)
Requires solid PC skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities
Previous Computer Industry experience, preferably Distribution, working directly with customers and internal teams is required
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Strong knowledge of corporate financial metrics, balance sheet and cash flow, etc.
Business modeling and planning
High technology business and product marketing
Strong analytical skills and business judgment
