Reporting into the VP, Audience and Programmatic Platforms, the position will play an instrumental role in defining and executing against product strategy for NBCU's audience and programmatic offerings, across a $10B digital video and linear television advertising business. Working with peers and leadership across product, operations and sales, the Director, Audience and Programmatic Platforms will be responsible for delivering innovative products that drive value for NBCU's clients and ultimately, revenue for the advertising business.
Define the product strategy and roadmap for technology platforms supporting programmatic and audience sales
Ensure platform roadmaps align with the broader NBCU strategy
Deliver product requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Work with engineering/dev teams to translate requirements into technical execution plan
Identify and address operational or process gaps required to support new product features
Evaluate external third-party technologies and data vendors and ensure successful launch and integration
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Track product development schedules
Stay abreast of relevant market trends, emerging technologies and competitor offerings
Qualifications/Requirements
5+ years of experience in product management with increasing responsibility
Deep technical expertise and understanding across a range of digital advertising technologies, including targeting, exchange platforms. Video DSPs (TubeMogul, Adap.Tv etc.), Video SSPs (SpotX, LiveRail), data management platforms (Krux, Adobe, BlueKai) and video ad servers (FreeWheel, LiveRail)
