Twitter is seeking a Director of Audience Growth who will be responsible for growing and engaging Twitter’s user base in the United States. Simply put, they’re the offensive coordinator in Twitter’s mission to ‘Reach every person on the planet’, developing strategy with and coordinating execution across the best product, content and marketing teams in the business to grow Twitter’s audience. This position is based in San Francisco or New York, will be part of the broader Twitter Audience Growth team, and will report directly to Twitter’s Senior Director of Audience Growth.
What You’ll Do:

As the person ultimately responsible for ensuring we are investing in the highest-impact growth programs and initiatives, you’ll own and drive ambitious user growth targets for Twitter in The US. Leading a small direct operations team and a large group of cross functional stakeholders- from product, content, business and marketing- you’ll identify audience opportunity, define market goals and collaborate to conceptualize solutions and execute upon plans. As the Head of Audience Growth for The US you will represent The US in weekly global leadership meetings, surface actionable marketing insights across the business and provide leadership to other teams in terms of audience and feature prioritization. You will explore, identify, and help evaluate strategic growth or acquisition opportunities in The US for Twitter Inc.

Who You Are:
You possess a deep understanding of The US, including cultural and political landscape, consumer web and mobile landscape, current usage of Twitter in-market, and gaps in product/market fit.
You have experience managing a team of a broad range of functional leads involved in the The US growth efforts.
You have experience in P&L management within a large or entrepreneurial company as well as brand / category management at a leading global brand / consumer goods company.
You have exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
You excel at building and nurturing trust-based relationships with leadership across the company.
You are passionate about developing teams
You are able to speak fluently to senior executives, product managers, and business leaders.
You have a strong strategic background and comfort in taking a data-driven and analytical approach to identifying gaps and opportunities in this market, as well as measuring results.
You are quick to adapt to and lead through fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments to deliver results.
You demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, detail-orientation and organization in the face of challenges.
You possess an infectious passion for and power user of Twitter.
You have prior experience working in a high-growth or startup technology company.
Requirements:

10-15 years of experience in relevant leadership roles, including significant experience in-market.
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred
