Facebook is seeking an experienced security engineer to join our Security Partnership team and be a security leader within our Advertising business. You will work with one of the best security teams in the world, making sure that the data we are trusted to protect is secured to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will share our passion for solving complicated business and security products while minimizing friction and maximizing productivity.
The security partner will build deep relationships with Product and Engineering leaders within Facebook's advertising business
The security partner must have or develop a deep expertise in the digital advertising domain
The security partner must be able to influence security risk decisions and their area's technical architecture
The security partner must explain these risks to the broader security organization
Keep the broader team aware of anticipated changes, large projects and security risk decisions for the assigned area
Act as the primary liaison between the business unit and the security team for all security-related matters
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to take a broad view of security risks to a business, weigh them against business objectives, and work with the business to form a plan to address these risks
Ability to drive efforts that have the highest impact on key business areas
Proven ability to communicate security risks and plans to address them to leaders in a business
Technical depth essential - we require the ideal candidate to have proven technical skills
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders
Proven ability to work in a fast-moving online business where risks are constantly evolving
Proven track record operating in a global team and tackling global challenges
Espouses a culture of openness and transparency and rejects rigid notions of security and risk
Application security assessment experience for web and mobile a plus
Minimum 8 years experience with Internet information security
