We are searching for an Agency Loan Director to be able to perform the following:
Review relevant terms and conditions of loan documents and translate to loan booking system
Liaise with internal and external client base on various loan activities
Assist in facilitating loan closings and in processing loan amendments
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly supervisory checks to ensure adherence to department and firm policies and procedures
Distribute notices and payments to a syndicate group and manage related queries
Conduct quarterly pricing review using client leverage ratios, debt ratings, and in some instances loan utilization levels
Reconcile system discrepancies and investigate various deal servicing issues
Provide support to junior staff members
Oversee the integrity of data room sites including but not limited to ensuring the appropriate individuals have access to compliance information in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree required
5-7 years of managing a high volume transactions team with tight deadlines required
Previous Operations background required
At least 3 years in financial services required
Strong business writing skills for procedure documentation, senior management presentations and email communication are required
Previous Loans experience strongly preferred
Previous regulatory/risk experience strongly preferred
Must be willing to work long hours to meet deadlines
Must be able to performance manage low performers and train new staff members
