Channel Development Director NAM Schneider Electric Nashville

The incumbent is expected to lead the Channel Development for the areas – USA, Mexico and CANADA. The incumbent will be responsible in the respective regions to lead our major transformation to move from a “product basket” approach to a “pipe” approach with a strong focus on Retail Channels. The incumbent will strongly contribute for delivering top line & bottom line for Retail lines of business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support countries to build their Retail strategy and manage the Retail pipe for all product opportunities. Ensure countries’ Retail strategy translates into concrete action plans and being executed.
Challenge the countries to meet growth expectations.
Understand the supply chain model of Retail customers and provide information to the supply chain : nb of point of sales, point of stock, inventory levels, nb of refs stocked etc.
Contribute to the supply chain SIOP process (Sales Inventory Operation Planning) led by Retail Offer Category Managers in the respective countries.
Support Digital transformation and use it as an opportunity of differentiation
Strongly contribute to deliver top line & bottom line for Retail lines of business in collaboration with Offer Category Management
Co-operate very closely and in between Offer Category Management, Channel Experience, Marketing Operations & Launch teams and countries to ensure effective implementation of Retail operating model leading to a profitable growth
Be voice of the countries / customers to upstream marketing and Retail Division
Ensure continuous and dynamic market animation
Provide support to the countries (ie. coaching & development of sales teams, support on sales efficiency, animation of channels and partners, …)
Coordinate Channel Development actions with other lines of Business

POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANIZATION

The incumbent will report to the SVP Retail Marketing, Retail Division.


INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

The incumbent will be in frequent relations with

· Countries’ Retail teams (Retail VPs and/or Partner VPs, but also with respective Sales, Channel and Offer Marketing teams)
· Retail Offer Management, Channel Experience, Marketing Operations & Launch, Pricing teams
· Retail Strategy team
· Lines of Business (Retail mainly but also Eco-Business and Partner Projects)
· Retail Supply Chain
· Digital Customer Experience team
· Channel Development Teams of other Businesses

It is critical that the incumbent develops and nurtures a high quality relationship with other relevant business and functional heads
