Senior Operation Director ABM Industries San Francisco

The Senior Operations Director holding this position is responsible for planning, providing and leading overall direction in a geographic region of the Business & Industry group in the Northern California area, with a specific focus on Parking Services. This Director will provide parking expertise, assist on regional sales & continuously improve existing parking products & services. This professional will also be responsible for driving organic growth and client expansion.
S/he will report to the Regional Vice President for the specified geographic region. This position requires exceptional relationship-building acumen, strong financial and analytical aptitude and the ability to navigate in a complex selling and operating environment.



Core Responsibilities:

Develops region/branch business plan which defines how the branch will achieve its operational and financial goals
Utilizes understanding of customer requirements, contract provisions and budgetary goals to determine staffing levels
Works with other department heads and staff to coordinate account startup and transition service or delivery
Ensures financial objectives are met through controlling expenses, expanding billable services to current customers and attracting new customers
Establishes customer inspection and visitation schedules to support maintenance of solid relationships
Ensures effective operations of the branches through staffing reviews and ensures that quality services are provided to customers;
Plans and executes special events to enhance staff morale and promote positive customer relations
Manages one or more operational managers within branches in region

Success with overall growth plan; onboarding new accounts, upselling and retaining existing accounts for all accounts that the role assists with
Client satisfaction, both internal and external.
Delivery of operations to the risk and safety standards set by the company
Coaching, growing & all forms of people management to develop a high caliber branches
Retaining current customers, expanding services to current customers and attracting new customers

Thorough P&L knowledge and skilled assessment of risk analytics.

Advanced skills encompassing operational planning and analysis and strategic financial planning
Proven track record of sales accomplishments including prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory management, meetings sales goals and market knowledge
