DC Entertainment seeks a Director, Creative Services Business Operations for the Creative Services department. Reporting to the Vice President of Creative Services, the Director, Creative Services Business Operations is responsible for the Profit and Loss document assigned to the DC Collectibles business. This includes capturing all costs and revenue, evaluating health of the product line and forecasting and hitting business goals for current and long term planning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop business/line/plans including LRP growth projections and strategy to meet those goals as set by management.
Work with Design and Production teams to ensure timely delivery of product.
Create and Manage P&L by year for entire product line.
Liaise with Finance on yearly and quarterly budgets for tracking and adjustments to the forecast.
Liaise with Sales on quantity forecasting and product information in order to expand distribution.
Manage Essentials line of product including inventory levels, new additions and discount opportunities.
Work with Vice President, Creative Services to explore new business and product categories within the scope of the DC Collectibles business.
Track industry trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
4 yr college degree required.
Degree in Finance or Business strongly preferred.
Minimum of 8 years merchandising/licensing experience required.
Experience in toy, licensing and/or entertainment fields preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills required.
Must possess excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Must have proven track-record demonstrating capability to communicate with all levels of staff, external clients, and WB divisions.
Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and excellent judgment. Able to work effectively with senior level executives.
Must be able to maintain project confidentiality.
Proven track-record of managing own workflow to meet tight deadlines while handling high volume of work with a great attention to detail-specific information.
Exceptional proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint required.
Ability to forecast and evaluate P&L’s to determine project feasibility and performance and make recommendations based on findings.
Knowledge of comics and/or DC characters a plus.
Ability to travel (internationally) approximately 20%.
Flexibility to respond to off-hours business needs.
