Vice President Market Unit Field Operations Coca-Cola Hartford

The goals for this role will be to organize, grow, manage and motivate the Market Unit Field function teams, develop and implement processes to enhance cross-enterprise integration. This leader will directly lead the Market Unit's Distribution Center Leads with accountability for Delivery, Warehousing and DSD planning, Customer Service, DOT & Regulatory Compliance, OSHA, Labor Negotiations & Product Quality to our customers.
Will ensure local community relations within the Market Unit and manage multiple geographies that may be organized by various labor unions. Responsible for optimizing the Market Unit cost structure to enhance operating income margins with full P & L, effectiveness & efficiency accountability.

This role will be responsible for partnering with Market Unit peers such as the Regional and Market Unit Sales Directors, DOIP, Planning, HR, etc. The market unit lead will ensure that similar relationships are developed at the Distribution Area levels. This is a customer facing role. Accountable for identifying and engaging with Key Customers and Operational leaders at the market unit and regional levels. This activity will require strong communication and collaboration between Regional Sales, National Sales and Customer Solutions and the Market Unit Leadership team.


Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Distribution and Warehouse Operations Areas of
the Field Ops organization
• Represents the organization internally and externally at the executive level.
• Accountable for delivering the vision and strategy
• Drive employee engagement and organizational health
• Develop world class processes.
• Translate Company business strategy into operational goals with visible metrics
• Ensure regulatory agency compliance at the Dist. Center level
• Enhance customer relations
• Coaching, motivating, developing talent
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Supply, Warehouse Operations & Systems management is required. In-depth experience in DSD, CPG, inventory control and management; managing execution; material movement; route execution, labor scheduling, planning and service level negotiations.

• Minimum 7 years direct management experience of a distribution and Warehouse Operations organization with multiple locations within a geographical area that includes both employees and facilities.

• Minimum 3 years of experience forecasting, planning, supply chain metrics, lean / CI, Six-Sigma, process improvement
