As the Senior Director - Marketing Operations, you will report to the CMO of Power Digital Solutions. You will provide Sales Enablement and training strategy and guidance to our inside and outside sales teams and channel partners. You will also develop the strategy for field productivity and readiness from New hire training programs, to accreditation's and more.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Director
- Marketing Operations will work closely with product marketing, product management, and other key groups to build out the necessary programs. You will work with our Regional General Manager's (GM) of Software to determine the needs of the fields and build out the supporting programs.In addition, you will:
Develop close coordination of marketing and sales systems and processes through clear and frequent communications with sales operations and executive management
Market database management including policy development and enforcement, process development and data quality
Manage marketing operations team and develop your skill set to delivery world class systems accuracy, reliability and availability
Oversee the successful global implementation of the Marketo marketing automation tool integrated to Salesforce.com allowing for multi-channel, multi-touch campaign management and closed loop lead management
Lead the effort to employ best practices processes in the areas of B-B lead management and drive significant improvements in marketing data quality
Ensure that marketing systems quickly assess and deliver leads to the appropriate sales professional with minimal delay and maximum data enrichment
Collaborate with senior leadership in developing, understanding and utilizing systems that support marketing goals and business efforts
Evaluate and provide insight on the performance of all marketing campaigns activities
Interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to opportunities and changes in the marketplace
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and customer service within and around marketing operations and act as a primary liaison to IT, sales operations and channel operations
Coordinate marketing integration actions for mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics or Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or marketing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS / PaaS software marketing operation
Desired Characteristics:
Master's Degree or MBA
Deep understanding of enterprise software SaaS, PaaS or IaaS based models
Hands-on modeling and spreadsheet skills.
Leadership and initiative to see what needs to be done and build plans and support to execute
Must be strategically analytical and operations focused while also providing strong oversight of tactical responsibilities
Be well organized and have a passion for reporting performance metrics and finances
Strong interpersonal and people management skills with proven success in motivating, mentoring and creating an environment where the best talent wants to be
Experience working with and effectively influencing senior management
Demonstrated ability to build highly effective working relationships with sales, marketing and IT
Strong verbal and written communication
Strategic and tactical mindset
Possess strong collaboration and influencing skills
Systems managed include Marketo, Eloqua, LeadSpace, Lattice, LeanData and Conversica
