Senior Director International Udemy San Francisco

We’re looking for a sales leader ready to tackle a complex, global challenge, ready to help us massively accelerate and broaden Udemy’s international instructor acquisition. We’re looking for someone passionate about helping experts teach and students learn any topic, leading them to build the life they imagine.
What you’ll do

· Own the supply side of our international business, including managing the existing team of 10 content acquisition and community managers.

· Co-own international revenue targets, in collaboration with our Growth Marketing and BD teams.

· Define the strategy, execute, and evolve the playbook.

· Coordinate with product, serving as an advocate for our global customers.

· Work with existing teams to define product requirements and the student acquisition strategy in close collaboration with a tight and dedicated cross-functional team;

· Develop a deep and passionate understanding of students and instructors usage, behaviors, and needs outside of the US

· Use Udemy’s product regularly to be a relentless advocate of Udemy’s customers internally

· Be the advocate for International expansion internally and getting appropriate resources from various teams internally to successfully Udemy’s business globally;

What you’ll need

· 10+ experience at a top consulting firm AND in operating roles

· A successful track record in addressing customer needs, building/growing businesses and hitting aggressive goals in an operating role

· An extraordinary ability to lead teams and lead cross-functionally

· The ability and desire to get things done by constantly moving back-and-forth between strategy and scrappy execution

· A strong appetite for taking risks, failing and moving fast

· Exceptional analytical and strategic skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems

· Excellent collaboration, leadership, and written and oral communication skills

· A passion for serving your customers and a relentless – sometimes annoying - desire to deliver them a world-class experience

· The desire to use Udemy to be the customer yourself

· An international mindset – having built businesses globally and/or having lived outside of the US is a plus

· A point of view on the role of online learning in the world
