Global Director University Recruiting Facebook Menlo Park

The Global University Recruiting Director will report directly into Facebook’s VP of Global Recruitment and will lead our talented global university recruiting team to support future growth, driving strategy and operational execution across more than 20 countries and over 64 global office locations. This person will be responsible for shaping recruitment strategy across university hiring for our global Tech, Global Marketing Solutions and Business teams and executing this strategy through our recruiters on the ground, globally. University recruiters in regions outside of North America report into their regional head requiring the Global Director to manage those teams by influence rather than by reporting line. This full time position is based in Menlo Park, CA.
Responsibilities

Develop and lead Facebook’s long term global strategies around university recruitment
Develop innovative approaches to partner with universities to leverage the Facebook platform in the identification of the right people in each program
Partner with our Academics group to establish innovative programs to invest in both graduate research relationships and undergraduate curriculum reform
Build the shared vision and commitment for University Recruiting initiatives internally and externally
Energize, inspire and nurture strategic relationships with executive leaders, HR business partners and Recruiting across Facebook
Working with our central diversity team, help to design, drive and execute our university diversity strategy to deliver programs and ultimately a diverse mix of hires from our university channels
Liaise with Facebook leaders for company-wide, critical university recruiting initiatives
Identify key trends in college recruiting (Undergraduate, Masters and PhD) and identify and implement high ROI solutions
Champion early identification and diversity recruiting strategy efforts at high schools and universities.
Requirements

10+ years University/College recruiting experience required including undergraduate and post graduate programs (including MBA, PHD desirable)
A bold and creative leader who seeks to redefine the university recruiting landscape
inspiring, emotionally intelligent team player who is analytical and detail oriented, both strategically and operationally focused
Experience with effectively influencing internal clients, interviewers, and team members applying their refined communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations.
