Director Sales GE Houston

In this role the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the overall Marine, Stationary, and Drill business strategy for assigned territory attaining all sales/orders objectives. This position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining all customer relationships. Distributor management will also be a major function of this position.
In addition, you will:

Sell and promote all GE Transportation Marine, Stationary, and Drill products in the assigned region
Interface with distributor & sales representatives to extend local market presence
Interface directly with the customer base in the region including presentations, trades fairs, and conferences
Develop, recommend and support go-to-market strategy, decisions, and growth-ideas
Develop existing customers and generate new customers, utilizing the GE network
Support identification, coordination and implementation of growth opportunities & activities for the region
Identify and evaluate customers' project needs and specifications and provide them with technical and commercial support on Marine and Stationary products
Review requests for proposals, and coordinate with the commercial product team to ensure all proposal requirements are met
Lead deal structuring, strategy and all other proposal development activities
Drive and lead sales initiatives at project/risk reviews providing clear strategy to the business
Support customers in developing competitive, project analysis and feasibility studies
Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, and competitor actions
Demonstrate boundary less teamwork and cross-functional cooperation working closely with GE
Marine and Stationary Product Management, Service, and Finance organizations
Qualifikationen/Anforderungen
Technical and/or Commercial educational background
A minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial experience in the Marine, Oil and Gas, and Energy markets
A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling high tech. products
