The Product Director will report to the head of Product Management for Samsung Pay. The product management team works closely with Global teams in Korea and local teams in Mountain View across various internal organizations including business, engineering, architecture and security, compliance and certifications to define requirements and roadmap for Samsung Pay.

Responsibilities Include: The Product Manager will participate in variety of formal and informal Product Management activities as dictated by the needs of the business and may include: • Contributing to the vision and strategy of our overall products and services • Acting as Product Owner to drive clarity of the product to meet commercial and strategic goals • Defining and articulating use cases/features/requirements for features that have been proposed • Ensuring that features/requirements meet certain entry criteria before assignment to a release • Soliciting and formalizing feedback from business teams and technology partners • Ensuring adherence to Product Management processes related to change control, documentation, etc. • Will sometimes lead, sometimes contribute, and sometimes carry firewood uphill in the dark • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Team player with exceptional time management skills • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently at all levels in the organization.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Experience Requirements: • College degree in EE, CS, or similar with 8-10 or more years of equivalent experience. MBA preferred. • Demonstrated experience writing product requirement documentation for mobile or software applications • Previous experience in end-to-end product lifecycle (concept through deployment and maintenance) is required • Technical and business confidence to assert and/or defend positions regarding definition and priority of features • Previous experience in products related to security, IP networking, cloud services, enterprise, and mobile payments technologies (e.g. NFC, HCE, TSM, Contactless, EMV, Global Platform, Paypass, Paywave, Cloud SE, etc) for delivering proximity and remote payment services is critical. • Comfortable with public speaking and technical writing and various levels of complexity and abstraction, from API document up to industry white paper • Able to determine own tasks related to high-level assignments • Able to travel internationally (<25 img="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFp9UQjKLzVRDEeCNME1x6OUGGNYOSKQoEpxw-LHLZEVJ4iUSClC4QNabWMH8adaHIYIF4lGGXdYXS05qCSGq9Pk88APFwKt99jwSgswCfTD9ONHwoA8tQYSvy6xXEheA7eSqkzWF1jLmY/s125/like_me_pls.gif">
