Join the team pioneering the mobile virtual reality industry and take responsibility for revenue generation for Samsung’s own online virtual reality services.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
You will define the business model (e.g. advertising models, subscription services) for our virtual reality services and then execute like a maniac!. You will initially be a team of one coordinating Samsung’s unbelievable resources.
If successful, you will build out a team around your business. Key responsibilities include: - Define business model - Get buy off from key internal customers (product, marketing, content, etc.) - Create business forecasts and own revenue goal - Generate your own leads - Sell and close your deals - Travel the U.S. as necessary to represent your business Experience and skills We need a jack of all trades with a range of experience in background in business. - 10-15 years work experience - Product marketing and/or revenue generating role in sales, marketing or BD org - Revenue or P&L ownership with quotas or bonus tie-ins - Advertising industry experience, especially around sponsorships and solutions - Digital media and content expertise is a plus - Ability to be both strategic, as well as excellent at execution - Excellent communicator and presenter to clients or large groups of executives
