Job Description:
We have an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on technologist to guide the architecture of our global Salesforce.com related application development. This high energy person will be responsible for defining our strategic approach to increasing our usage of the platform, ensuring we take advantage of all Salesforce.com capabilities, working with the business team to identify gaps and identify solutions and software to increase our capabilities, and work with our Big Data and Analytics team in order to craft a strategy to realize the full potential of the platform, integrating salesforce.com with our core platforms. The successful candidate will lead a group of technical architects, have the ability to be hands on, as well as assist with the development of an architecture practice to support our migration to a agile development practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture across the global Salesforce.com portfolio in support of the Sales & Account Development teams
Focused on delivering globally consistent capabilities that are integrated using APIs based interfaces with Salesforce.com as platform of choice for Sales & Account Development teams
Lead the development of Salesforce.com technology platform blueprint
Work with engineering teams to ensure that implementations are aligned with the platform’s blueprint Spend about 25% of time on hands-on design and implementation of Salesforce.com related technical projects
Build and develop a small team of hands-on technical architects and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentorship to delivery team members
Apply analysis based on research, industry standards or practices, and introspection to recommend solutions
Participate in brainstorming and discovery exercises to determine new ideas

Qualifications
Hands-on systems design and development using Salesforce.com related technologies such as Apex, Visual Force, Force.com, AppExchange packages, Salesforce1 Lightning etc
8+ years of hands-on systems design, development and architecture experience across multiple IT disciplines - web and mobile application development, APIs, enterprise integration Salesforce.com Certifications (e.g. Technical Architect, Advanced Developer) highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with internal/external people at all levels
Ability to adapt solution architecture to meet the broader needs of the enterprise, solving unique problems that span multiple areas
Ability to navigate a large global organization and develop strong relationships across multiple teams in order to deliver projects in a cross-functional environment
Successful design, creation and deployment of one or more enterprise-grade technology assets, including integration of cross-platform solutions
Prior experience working with Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methods is preferred
