Job Description:
The Sales Director will manage the Sales Team responsible for new logo Services (ITO, BPO, ADM, AMS, and Infrastructure Services) sales. They oversee the group that is responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within this Industry vertical. Directs the team in complex customer negotiations, typically over a longer sales cycle (i.e., six months or more), to reach long-term agreements and commitments; driving sales strategy, and key liaison with corporate support organizations such as Dell marketing to enhance Dell brand in this segment.
Role Responsibilities
- Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group
- Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce
- Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members
- Oversees team in multifaceted, extended negotiations for the sale of complex, high-value, multi-year contracts for services
- Develops team’s consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions and enhance capability to represent the entire portfolio of I&CC offers to target customers
- Maintains effective customer relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers in order to understand the customer's requirements, match them with the organization's solutions, and close the deal
- Utilizes advanced knowledge of Dell’s service offerings and understanding of the customer's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions that successfully sell the organization's capabilities
- Ensures solution value drivers are reflected in the client value proposition
- Collaborates with delivery team management to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution
- Maintains a high level of industry, organization, product, and service knowledge to transfer this knowledge to sales team, customers and prospects
- Responsible for quota setting at the team/individual level

Requirements
- 5 plus years of Banking, Financial or Insurance services industry experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with Information Technology outsourcing services or other complex services sales
- Pipeline management and reporting experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a team leader
- Understanding of the complex services solution, pricing and proposal processes
