Job Description:
The Director, Network Engineering and Operations will be responsible for managing all aspects of network engineering and operations across the Connecticut market with responsibility over Upstate New York comprising 1,650 sites. This leader must be able to think and act strategically to create a comprehensive vision for the markets.
The role requires a leader with a competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership. This position will serve a critical role in partnering with NYMTA and New England sales teams to drive growth across Upstate New York and Connecticut markets.
The Director will lead approximately 64 FTEs as well as strategic business relationships with internal and external peers and partners, including Sales, Regional and National Engineering partners and Infrastructure Suppliers and Vendors. Their responsibilities include oversight of Field and Switch network operations, RF design and optimization and performance, and development of market’s cell site.
