Job Description:
The Director, Mobility Sales Enablement will be responsible for the development and execution of the sales enablement strategy for the Mobile BU team within the Samsung Business Organization. The sales enablement strategy will focus on Mobile products, including Smartphones, Tablets, Wearables, and other connected devices (LTE, 4G, and WiFi).
The main objective is to enable the Samsung business organization and partners to effectively pivot from product sales to solution sales. The VP, Mobility Sales Enablement will report to the VP, Mobile Product Marketing for the US market OR to the SVP Samsung Business, depending on qualifications.
Specifically, the Director, Mobility Sales Enablement will focus on the following responsibilities:
Development and ownership for Samsung Business mobility sales enablement, certification, and training strategy and associated tools
Innovation in delivering enablement to internal and partner stakeholders
Coordination of the sales enablement and training strategy, messaging and support with NAHQ, SEA, other Samsung Business units, and HQ EBT teams
Coordination of training and enablement tools with mobile product marketing organization
Management and ownership of the Samsung Business Tool Box
Identification of new enablement & learning tools that utilize and showcase mobile technology
Senior level thought leadership and strategy creation for how we deliver the Samsung Business mobility story to the market and across the channels
Identification, development, and implementation of solution focused selling methodologies
Development and delivery of mobility sales enablement tools to carrier, channel and end customer segment teams
Implementation and measurement of all sales enablement and training programs across all channels
Development and implementation of new sales programs designed to increase market share and drive revenue growth
Additional Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Develop and manage the relationship with our consumer sales enablement and training organizations
Work collectively across the business on enablement opportunities tied to Business Innovation
Build a COE of mobility best practices and use cases
Program management of ‘end to end’ enablement delivery
Desired Skills and Experience
The Director, Mobility Sales Enablement will provide the overall strategic direction for how we deliver sales training and enhance mobility sales across the SEA organization as it related to Samsung Business. This position will also provide thought leadership and technical insight to other SEA/HQ/R&D business leaders and contribute to SEA/HQ/R&D overall business strategy development and implementation with respect to Sales Strategy; develop and manage the associated sales enablement support team staff; be responsible for the enablement programs to support Solutions introductions and business development; and manage product marketing interaction with the Marketing organization as appropriate. This role will also manage and develop Solutions/Services sales enablement tools for the Samsung Business services organization (as it related to mobile products) and serve as the primary Solutions Enablement and Business Innovation expert within the organization.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of directly related experience is required
Prior experience developing and implementing sales enablement and training strategies required
Prior experience managing sales, solutions, marketing and or enablement organizations required
Prior experience in a telecommunications environment required, with specific focus on Mobile device services and support (smartphones, tablets, and wearables)
Prior experience managing and developing services and solutions support staff required
Prior experience leading a sales, marketing, training, and/or enablement organization required
Ability to identify service and support risks and associated solutions within wireless product technologies
Ability to develop strategy and program manage implementation
Executive Presentation skills (C-Level audience) required
Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain wireless terminals technical product and development materials
Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and extensive use of Windows presentation software in a wireless network environment
Must have demonstrated project and program management skills
Additional Requirements:
Work is generally performed in an office environment and this role is based in Ridgefield Park, NJ.
Travel is required, approximately 25% - 30%, to deliver enablement sessions to key partner and employee sites
The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds.
Will be required to travel between key US offices as well as attend customer/industry events and required meetings with HQ or other subsidiaries as assigned.
