Job Description:

The Director, Leadership Development will be a key member of the Talent Development. Located in Mountain View at Intuit headquarters, this role will be pivotal in building and executing leadership and management development capabilities for the company globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of professionals to design and execute a holistic management and leadership development strategy for the company.
Partner with the VP, Talent Development in design, development and execution of top talent executive readiness experiences tied to company strategic goals.
Steward end-to-end development architecture from front-line manager to high-potential leader.
Builds strong relationship and partners with regional TD leads, Business Leaders and HRBPs to plan and execute localized leadership development strategies aligned with center.
Partner to build a leadership capability model for the company.
Inspires and leads change, drives for organizational improvements, and builds consensus across a broad learning community.
Manage strategic external vendor and partner resources.
Facilitate leadership and management development experiences with a concentration on executive readiness
Partners with Talent Performance in supporting succession-planning readiness.
Understand the business environment, the organization’s business strategy, goals, organization and talent needs.
Provides consulting and organizational development services internally - including learning planning, strategic planning, team development, management and leadership coaching, and offsite planning and facilitation. Creates customized organizational development solutions for managers and leaders as needed.
Provide assessment, analysis and insights to help develop the organization’s talent strategy and more specifically the talent development aspects of that strategy and priorities; getting shared vision with the HR leaders and Business Leaders of that organization.
Use customer insights, data and metrics to demonstrate the impact of talent development initiatives.
Is active in peer leadership development groups and had deep leadership development knowledge.
Use knowledge working in specific organizations to contribute to the development of core offerings in Talent Development and understand emerging capabilities needed in the organization. This may include needs assessment, partnering on experience design, experimenting with a small group, implementing at scale and measuring the impact.
Communicate and guide the implementation of TD experiences in specific organizations.
Partner across Intuit’s broader L&D community to leverage best practices and models that can be “brought back” to the business.
Manage key stakeholders, sets appropriate expectations with leaders in the organization and prioritize the most important work.
Models and teaches the Intuit Values.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, related field or equivalent experience. Master’s preferred.
At least 15 years’ work experience in business or human resources with an emphasis on talent management/development, organizational design/development or human capital consulting.
Demonstrated ability and experience to design and deliver end-to-end managerial and leadership development at scale.
Has led and partnered with international and virtual teams.
Experience in budgeting, finance and program management globally.
Demonstrated leadership development (domain) expertise and knowledge of the professional field.
Demonstrated ability in designing branded development experiences at scale using technology and collaborative tools.
Able to accurately diagnose root cause and design interventions that contribute to delivering better business outcomes
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to be highly adaptable, collaborative, and resourceful - to work as part of a team or independently.
Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively interface and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
One-on-one coaching experience with leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - highly articulate and able to present point of view in a clear and concise manner
Personable, able to develop strong working relationships and influence as a strategic partner
Ability to deal with ambiguous and often complex work situations
Demonstrates high level of judgment, integrity and sense of urgency
Reporting:
This position will report to the Vice President of Talent Development.
Other:
Location: Mountain View, CA. Will require approximately 10% travel.
