Job Description:
The ability to compile and filter Citi Research , Securities Lending information, Central Risk Color, Sector Trading Market intelligence, Sector Specialists communications, Previous Client related Activities (Across all products), Prepare properly for Equity Capital Markets responsibilities each morning and ensure that all key market-moving information is communicated to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
US cash, International cash, Program Trading Electronic Execution, Derivatives, Delta 1, Sales, Convertibles, Cross-Asset & Equity Capital Markets desks
Work alongside in a team atmosphere amidst senior and junior sales-traders to execute trades, respond to client inquiries and understand capital and risk situations
Communicate Citi trading axes to clients throughout the day- properly frame the market dynamics affecting order flow and interpret best execution practices by way of providing clients with Citi’s Mosaic of Flows and Market Intelligence.
Have the ability to Personally oversee, Help the team back-up and manage strategic objectives for all client types, Big and small, Growing as well as Maintaining Client relationships of all mutual and hedge funds of differing sizes – with a constant eye towards profitability
Provide analysis of trading ideas and current trading environment to clients and co-workers by analyzing market conditions, commentary and gathering key data and Citi Information
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to converse between clients and traders to assist in meeting the objectives of both by understanding and managing risk objectives and capital exposure.
Qualifications
Bachelors required.
At least 10 years of equity cash sales trading experience
Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Research/data-gathering skills
Demonstrated team commitment, resilience and strong work ethic
